That’s a wrap on Natural Products Expo West!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s event so incredible, from start to finish. The energy was inclusive and upbeat, even with the rain! The excitement shared by attendees, vendors, and staff made this year’s expo truly exceptional.

We were proud to showcase bold, versatile spices and chat with many of you about the future of the industry. Here are some of our favorite photos from the event, along with a brief recap that highlights our most memorable moments and key takeaways from NPEW 2025.

 

Hummus Sample Station

Everyone who visited our booth at NPEW had the chance to sample four of our unique spice blends on top of hummus. Throughout the event, we gathered real-time feedback on each blend, and brainstormed with visitors about other exciting ways to use them.

Attendees were encouraged to try:

  • PSC Chili Crunch – An all-purpose chili oil that features deep, full-bodied flavor, rich umami, balanced heat, and a satisfying crunch.
  • PSC Mediterranean Za’atar – A citrus-forward blend featuring wild thyme, sumac, sesame seeds, and marjoram.
  • PSC Everything Crunch: A savory, all-in-one seasoning with toasted sesame and poppy seeds, garlic, and onion.
  • PSC Spicy Dill Pickle Marinade: A salty, spicy seasoning that blends vinegar powder, mustard seed, and cayenne pepper for a zingy, slightly spicy finish.

Our sample station allowed visitors to experience the flavor and texture of each blend first-hand. Each one of our hummus toppings was very well-received, and many attendees were pleasantly surprised at how each blend elevated the flavor of the hummus in their own way.

While all of our featured blends received praise, this year’s favorite was PSC Chili Crunch. With spicy foods trending, the versatility of PSC Chili Crunch was especially appealing to attendees. Pacific Spice team member, Carmen, believes that this blend has the best showcase appeal, due to its vibrant colors, texture, taste, and aroma.

PSC Spicy Dill Pickle Marinade sparked the most surprise at our booth, with some attendees sharing how much they enjoyed the heat that built up gradually and hit at the end. Visitors also loved the bright, citrus-forward flavor of PSC Mediterranean Za’atar, and spoke with us about its many potential uses both within and beyond Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally, PSC Everything Seasoning was a hit, and many were pleasantly surprised to see it paired with hummus.

We had so many engaging conversations about each of our featured blends, and we are returning home more confident than ever of their flavor and functionality in cuisines. We can’t wait to see the creativity they will inspire in kitchens everywhere!

Memorable Moments

There were so many memorable moments from this year’s event! We loved getting to know our neighbors and learning about the specific challenges and innovations within their segment of the industry. We were visited by a costumed sumo wrestler, and belly laughed with a customer over a misunderstanding. We learned about all the insightful ways companies are navigating tariffs, and made meaningful connections with both new and existing customers.
